Collects nasal and throat swabs from inpatients and outpatients on site and off site.
Cleans and stocks pick-up carts and trays.
Orders lab tests in the computer with Medical Necessity.
Receives laboratory specimens.
Check orders for accuracy.
Fax results and answer phones.

Paramedical training preferred.
Working Conditions:

All procedures or other job-related tasks that involve an inherent potential for mucous membrane or skin contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues, or a potential for spills or splashes of them, are Category I tasks.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
